Pendleton Heights struck for 11 runs through the first five innings then held on to defeat our Raiders 11-8. SHS was able to put together two- 4 run innings, but ultimately fell short. One night after scoring 7 in the 7th to defeat Adams Central, the Raiders rallied for 4 runs in the 7th to bring it to 11-8. There were plenty of highlights for Shenandoah. Offensively, sophomore Addi Toffolo had an outstanding night at the plate. She went 4 for 4, scored twice and drove home 3 of her teammates. Four other Raiders chipped in 2 hit nights, including Olivia Hinesley and Aleyna Sharritts (2 for 4, R each), Reese Sprunger (2 for 4, 2B, 2R), Kayden Schneider (2 for 4, 2B, 3 RBI). Senior Gabrielle Patrick was 1 for 4 and scored 2 runs, Khloe Goble was 1 for 4 with an RBI, and Ava Taylor went 1 for 3. The Raiders host New Castle tonight at 5pm.
