Baseball (Boys V) Scores

The Baseball Raiders made quick work of Rushville on Wednesday with by a score of 11-1 in a game shortened to 5 innings due to the 10 run rule. After 2 1/2 scoreless innings, the Raiders scored 4 in the third, 1 in the 5th and 6 in the 6th to end the game. Arrington Murray got the win from the bump last night. The junior gave up 3 hits, walked 3 and struck out 3 in four innings of work. Cyrus Lee finished up, giving up 2 hits and unearned run while striking out 1. Offensively.......he did it again! Senior Drew Fredenburg homered for the 3rd consecutive game. He also drew 2 walks, scored 3 runs, stole a base and knocked in 2 Raiders. Three Raiders turned in multi-hit performances. Murray was 2 for 4, had a triple, scored twice and had an RBI. Aiden Coffey had a couple of singles, scored once and drove home 2. Micah Cole was 2-3 with a run scored. Maddux Davis made the most of 1 for 3 night as he also had a 3 RBI night. Jarrett Helman was 1-1, scored twice, was hit by a pitch and walked twice. Garrett May rounded out the offense. He was 1-1, scored2 runs and had an RBI. The Raiders travel to Centerville on Thursday.
