The Shenandoah Baseball team traveled to Centerville and defeated the Bulldogs 11-2. Raider senior Drew Fredenburg did it from the mound and the plate last night. Fredenburg pitched six strong innings and drove home 4 runs to help raise the Raiders record to 4-0 to start the season. In his 6 innings, Fredenburg gave up just 2 hits and no earned runs while striking out 6. At the plate, Fredenburg was 2 for 3 with 2 walks and the aforementioned 4 RBI. Maddux Davis finished off the Bulldogs with a perfect 7th inning striking out 2. Arrin Murray, Jayden Campbell, and Aiden Coffey all scored 3 times for the Raiders. Murray was 1 for 3 with 2 walks and a stolen base while Coffey was also 1 for 3 with a triple and stole 2 bases, while Campbell had 3 singles in his 4 plate appearances. The Raiders return to action on Tuesday with a home MEC game with Monroe Central. The first pitch is scheduled for 5pm.
