Shenandoah's baseball team raised their record to 2-0 on the season with a 19-9 win over visiting Centerville. Despite falling behind 4-0 after a half inning and 6-3 after 2.5 innings, the Raider bats came alive to outscore the Bulldogs 16-3 in the six inning, run rule victory. The Raiders have now scored 42 runs through 2 games. Providing the damage with their bats were Collin Osenbaugh (3 for 5 with 2 triples, a home run and 8 RBI), Jarrett Helman (2 for 3 with a home run and 3 RBI), Brandan Conyers (2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI), and Drew Fredenburg (2 for 3 with a double, 4 runs scored, and an RBI). Kayden Randolph and Ethan Taylor split the mound duties evenly over the 6 innings. Randolph got the start and gave up 2 earned runs while striking out 2 and Taylor was touched for 3 earned runs with 5 Ks. The Raiders are back in action tonight at home against Northeastern at 5:30.
