The Raiders followed their 15-0 win over Monroe Central with a 16-0 win over Adams Central last night. The win improves SHS to 3-0 on the season with all wins coming on the road. Last night it was Olivia Watson returning to the circle. The senior shut down the Jets on one hit over the 5 innings she pitched. The win raises her record this season to 2-0. The Raiders tallied 14 hits and used 6 walks to account for their 15 runs. Leading the hit parade were a pair of seniors, namely Tarran Mills and Kaelyn Castor. Mills went 4-4, scored 3 runs and knocked in 2 more. Castor was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Lydia Schwagmeier also had a multi-hit night going 2 for 5 while scoring and knocking in 2 runs. Olivia Hinesley had an RBI double and Reese Sprunger knocked in 2 with a triple. Also adding RBI hits were Aleyna Sharritts (2RBI), and Gabbi Patrick and Watson (1 each). The Raiders travel to Cowan for an MEC contest this evening.
