Shenandoah High School

Shenandoah used a strong pitching performance from Collin Osenbaugh and some daring base running from Ethan Taylor to "steal" a win at Wapahani tonight. The Raiders are now 7-2 overall and 4-0 MEC on the season. Osenbaugh's gutty performance? How about striking out the last Wapahani batter on his 114th pitch of the night with the tying run on third base? Osenbaugh struck out 9 with 2 walks and gave up a single earned run. As for Taylor, the junior outfielder was 0-3 with a walk but that walk was key. Taylor walked in the top of the 7th and proceeded to steal 2nd and third base on consecutive pitches and scored when the Wapahani catcher's throw went into left field to give SHS the 1 run lead. Each team had 6 hits but the Raiders played errorlessly in the field. Brandan Conyers was 2-3 for tonight, Drew Frewenburg was 1 for 3 with a run scored, Osenbaugh was 1 for 3 with a run scores, and Ashton Renz was 1 for 2 with 2 key RBI.
